The wines are from Rueda in central Spain – Spain’s No 1 white wine region famed for its Verdejo grape variety and its fresh, aromatic wines. The are selected by Owen Morgan, founder of the Bar 44 restaurant group, Brand Ambassador for Rueda DO, and a Caballero of the Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino.
The cheeses are chosen by Emma Young, who will explain the science and art of pairing. With a passion for her subject and experience right across the cheese business, Emma’s expertise as a teacher, judge and industry consultant is recognized around the world. Her clarity and humour have brought a big following to her Instagram page @thecheeseexplorer and shine through in her first book The Cheese Wheel: How to choose and pair cheese like an expert.
